The Landgoed Ruighenrode Holiday Park is in the beautiful countryside of the Achterhoek. The area is in the Province of Gelderland, near the town of Lochem. It is well known for its extensive woods, centuries-old castles and farms. You can discover many attractive small towns such as the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer. The countryside surrounding the holiday park is an area of unspoilt natural beauty and is very popular for cycling and walking. The park is 40 hectares and has a spacious lay-out. The original trees and foliage have been kept intact as much as possible. Beautiful mature trees, replenished with new planting make Ruighenrode Holiday Park a truly green park.

There is always plenty going on to keep you busy. The recreation pond has a water slide, a jungle bridge and a tow bar. There are a number of small playgrounds and an indoor play centre for children. Youll find a riding school, golf course and a subtropical swimming centre very near the park.

Ruighenrode Holiday Park has various types of bungalows. They range from simple to luxurious with every possible comfort. Some are suitable for families and some for large groups of 10 people. At Ruighenrode Holiday Park you can enjoy the water, the woods and everything else that the park has to offer.

Particularidades: The de Beemd subtropical swimming centre is around 800 metres from the park. As a guest of Ruighenrode you can use the centre free of charge.

The indoor play centre and the snack-corner will be operating from mid 2009.

The recreation team is available during the school holidays and organises various sports and leisure activities throughout the day.

  Onze ervaring is alleen maar positief geweest. Wij hebben nooit eerder een vakantie gevierd in een vakantiehuisje maar het is ons heel goed bevallen en zullen het zeker nog eens doen. Het huis waarin wij verbleven zag er anders uit dan op de foto, maar volgens ons was het nog mooier en de ligging was ook perfect. We zaten heel vrij en het had een mooie grote aangelegde tuin. Het enige nadeel was dat er geen lekkere tuinstoelen waren, zodat niet echt lekker in de tuin kon relaxen na een lange wandeling. Nu moesten we op goedkope plastic stoeltjes zitten en dat zit gewoon niet lekker. Dat vonden wij echt heel jammer. Misschien een aandachtspunt voor de eigenaar. Maar verder niets dan lof.
