L'Orée des Pistes is in the Dévoluy area and in quiet surroundings. Dévoluy is a pleasant family resort in the southern Alps. It is higher than some resorts and is often sunny. The complex is 600 metres from the town centre where youll find shops, restaurants and bars, all at the foot of the ski-slopes. You can enjoy cross-country skiing and snow boarding in Dévoluy as well as downhill skiing. You can venture on walks with or without snow shoes (raquettes a neige) and enjoy a trip on a snow-scooter.
There's plenty to do here in summer too. You can enjoy beautiful walks, mountain biking and mountain climbing on a Via Ferrata (iron way) circuit. You can also enjoy rafting, kayaking, riding, a tree circuit and bungee jumping. A visit to the attractive town of Gap is highly recommended. You can discover superb local produce in the market town of Mens. From the town of Corps you can ascend a mountain to La Salette, a famous place of pilgrimage. This is a beautiful area and perfect for delightful walks. The L'Orée des Pistes Residential Complex is built of wood and consists of attached chalets and apartments. There is a ski-run beside the complex so you can return to your holiday home on skis. The main building houses a reception area, an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna. You'll enjoy a superb holiday in this delightful area in summer and winter!
