Experience the houseboat Amalie - Maritime luxury in Bork Harbour Unique 2-storey houseboat in the old fishing village of Bork Harbour at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord. The houseboat Amalie was built in 2007 to the most modern designs and is equipped with 3 flat screens, radio and fibre optic internet, and there are 4 charging stations for electric cars in the harbour car park. Enjoy a fantastic maritime experience for the whole family - even if you don't have seamanship skills, and the houseboat is so large and stable that you only hear a faint and cosy creaking sound. Imagine being able to follow the traffic of the sailboats, watch the fishermen return to harbour after a long day on the fjord from one of the boat's 3 terraces and watch from another terrace as the day's catch is unloaded. From the first floor terrace you can see the bird sanctuary Tipperne and all the way across to the sand dunes out by the North Sea, and it's a fantastic panoramic view that must be experienced - not least when the sun goes down and colours the sky red. And if the weather doesn't invite you to stay on the terrace, there is still a wonderful view of the entire inner harbour with its fishing boats, as Amalie is the closest neighbour to the fishing boats and is equipped with a large panorama window on the side. On the lower deck, you arrive via a large covered east-facing terrace to a well-equipped kitchen-dining room. You'll then pass through a short corridor with access to a bathroom with toilet, shower and sauna on one side and a bathroom with toilet and spa on the other.
