The Nes iron works museum with industrial history and experiences. Arendal Golf Club has an 18-hole course with a high standard. Arendal is a gem with a lot of cultural life and is visited by thousands of people all year. Kristiansand is the biggest attraction with the Zoo and Kardemomme town, an hour away. There are plenty of berries and mushrooms in the area. The landlord can guide you to good places. Hiking trails at Kilsund, plus exciting Kalvøysund fortress and hiking trails on both islands just outside; Flosterøya and Tverrdalsøya. Not rented out to youth groups.
