Kabbosjön is a beautiful lake about 20 meters deep, here you have the opportunity for a varied sport fishing, perch, pike, tench and trout. Fishing requires a fishing license. You can also fish in Örsjön, fishing licenses are also required here. There are fantastic cycle paths here. It is never far to a marked hiking trail in Dalsland. A well-visited hiking trail can be found in Karolinerleder Karl X11's road, it runs across the northern part of the Kroppefjäll plateau, about 15 kilometers of hiking on paths through fine forests. The trail's western starting point is in Järbo about 27 km from the cottage. Borekulle, Dals-Rostock is an old ancient castle located on a high mountain ridge with a fantastic view located about 6 km from the cottage.
