Not only that, on the other side of the area, Nötholmen's nature reserve expands with nice hiking trails, running paths, beaches and at the top of the island there is a barbecue hut where you can hike, grill and watch the sun go down in the northwest. In the immediate area there are nice cycle and walking paths and from the area you can also easily get further into the central parts of Strömstad via a cable car that goes over Bojarkilen's salt water. Strömstads GK golf course is within walking distance beyond the parking garage.
