At the nearest community, Unnaryd, there is a larger public swimming area with a jetty, barbecue area, etc. The area where your cottage is located is idyllic and rich in lakes. Here you are always close to fine fishing waters, excellent canoeing experiences, quiet outdoor swimming, inspiring bike tours and pleasant hiking trails. The forest has a well-stocked pantry with both berries and mushrooms. A short drive away is Lake Bolmen with wonderful nature experiences, a famous fish restaurant and a farm shop. A drive north takes you to the large outdoor area at Hestra. There are tracks for mountain bikes, hill tracks and ski slopes. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Rydö golf club.
