Villa espaciosa | Mougins

Dear sir, madam, We have rented the villa in Mougins “chemin de jyloue 778”. Code: FR-00009-34 Unfortunately we have come upon not one, not two but several different unpleasantries. To begin: upon arrival we noticed a broken garden light in the back garden and at around 21:30u the automatic garden sprinkler systems turns on, causing a power short circuit We had to turn on the fuse box several times again to get the power up and running. Due to this hazard the power unit is not capable of delivering the required current to run all airco’s in the rooms at the same time. Different fuses jump out because of this al the time (which we need to turn un again every time). On day 3 we had a fuse jump which was responsible for the washing/dryer combo to malfunction and drainage stop. Because of this waste water rose up from the bathtub in the downstairs room causing frustration al around. Furthermore only 1 out of 5 of the porch lights are functional causing us to buy extra candles to sit outdoors during the evening and remain visible for one another. On top of this all there is no active security system or gate around our swimming pool which is hazardous for our young children (effectively this seems to be mandatory by French law for renting out houses). The culmination of our bad experiences came yesterday evening causing us to reach out to you with this mail. Yesterday we had an expensive private chef coming over to cook for a birthday celebration. During this evening the drainage of the wasmachine got flooded and caused a malfunction of the machine itself. Next to this the plumbing of the kitchen sink got stuck causing water to leak in the underneath cabinet and on the kitchen floor. We needed to halt our festivities and start to clean and dry up waste water in the kitchen before resuming our celebration. As you can see we are experiencing a far less then desirable holiday stay in this villa we rented via your services. Although we are accustomed to some degree of malfunctioning in rent villa’s this is way more than acceptable. The villa is advertised as beeing up to date for continu use with large group but as we are currently experiencing this feel Like false advertising to be honest. Therefore we would like to receive a substantial compensation on the total renting price for our troubles in order to make things right. We expect to receive feedback within 5 business days. Thanks.

Schitterend ruim huis op mooie locatie. Met een aantal gezinnen heel fijn eigen slaapkamers verspreid over het huis, daardoor toch privacy. Heerlijk zwembad met diepe en ondiepe delen, daardoor kunnen kinderen ook leuk spelen. Genoten van het verblijf! Helaas waren er enkele kleine mankementen bij aankomst, meeste waren snel verholpen. Trampoline was vergaan en met name onveilig met grote scheur van 1 mtr en na 1 week wel nieuw doek maar dat paste niet goed. Tips voor eigenaar: - keukenspullen eerder vervangen, want er is geen theekopje zonder stukjes eraf en de meeste borden en schalen zijn beschadigd. Ook pannen waar geen teflonlaag meer op zit. - Vloer in poolhouse op enkele plaatsen doorgezakt - Enkele raamluiken zijn aan het rotten - in badkamer bij master bedroom op 1e verdieping graag gordijnen ophangen voor comfortabel gevoel, ook al is er weinig inkijk - in de dressingroom op 1e verdieping extra kastruimte met roede voor lange jurken
